Incentives & Offers

Stellantis (FCA) team wanted to redesign one of their main shopping tools called, Incentives & Offers, to provide a cleaner visual and better user experience.

Role

Lead UX UI Designer

Platform

Desktop & mobile

User Flow - Before

Model Selection

Offers by Model

Featured Deal

Analysis

With the old experience of this shopping tool, there were 4 main problems we wanted to improve:

  1. Inability to compare offers between the vehicles

  2. No offer filter capability

  3. Outdated UI design

  4. Redundant vehicle information between the 2 pages (Featured Deal and Offers by Model)

User Flow - After

Model Selection

After

Competitive Analysis

To plan how to improve this experience for the user, we researched on what the competitors are doing.

  • One-page application

  • A list of all trims and offers

  • Use of filter (sticky nav)

Wireframes

Iterations - Round One

Client Review and Discussion

  1. Wanted to keep their existing model selection page as the Incentives & Offers landing page to present the featured offers for each model

  2. Keep the current offer design

  3. One-page application in option #1 will lead to slower page loading time

  4. Infinite page scrolling in option #1 due to big list of offers/vehicles, is this okay for the user?

  5. Preferred the option #2 where the second page is more model focused and simplified

Iterations - Round Two

Client Review and Discussion

  1. Too many clicks to view and compare the offers between the trims

  2. Inability to compare offers in the same page

  3. Utilize the experience in Option #1 from Round One but keep the current model selection page and change the filtering to vehicle trim level in the second page to allow the number of offers/vehicles in the list be more manageable

The Outcome

This redesign is now live and available in all FCA brands’ websites.
